Jeffrey W. Rauhauser

DOVER – Jeffrey W. Rauhauser, 71, entered into rest on Wednesday evening, April 9, 2025 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Cynthia J. (Shuff) Rauhauser.  The couple celebrated 47 years of marriage on July 9, 2024.

Born January 23, 1954 in York, he was a son of the late Emerson H. and Betty J. (Bailey) Rauhauser.

Jeffrey graduated from Dover High School in 1972 and worked as a color mixer apprentice for York Wallcoverings for 12 years.  He retired from the USPS following over 30 years of service as a mail carrier.

Jeffrey was a lifetime member of the Viking Athletic Association.  He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.  He enjoyed supporting his grandchildren at their sporting events.  He also liked to spend time outdoors at his home, whether it was work or play.

In addition to his wife, Jeffrey is survived by two children, Amber L. Street and husband, Jason and Chad J. Rauhauser and wife, Jennifer, all of Dover; six grandchildren, Reagan Rauhauser, Lauren Street, Chase Street, Leighton Rauhauser, Carson Rauhauser and Audrey Street; a brother, Michael R. Rauhauser of York; three sisters, Rozella M. Morris of York, Beverly S. Kidd of Dover and Barbara A. Tubbs of York; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Robert Emerson.

Following cremation, a time to celebrate Jeffrey’s life will be scheduled at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
