John Raymond Eckert

December 1, 1965 – February 11, 2025

He was the son of the late Lester L. Eckert and Betty L. Eckert.

He is survived by his siblings, Lester E. Eckert and spouse, Gayle Eckert of Carlisle, Linda L. Bragg and spouse, Calvin Bragg of Michigan and David R. Eckert of Dillsburg; his son, Johnny Raymond Levarto; his daughter, Krista Renee Lehman; and his bonus children, Amanda Hare, Justin Adams, Sadie Glatfelter, Steven Glatfelter, Tanner Glatfelter, Jensen Glatfelter, Olivia Glatfelter and Jaxten Glatfelter; and the love of his life and best friend, Michelle Landerer.  Together, John and Michelle laughed, cried and faced life’s challenges with hope and faith.  With Michelle, John found love and peace as she returned her love with love, tenderness and caring, especially over his last few years during his battle with cancer.

He was a hard-working man, selfless, kindhearted, generous, always giving and thinking of others before himself up until he journeyed home to be with his Father in heaven.

Following cremation, services for John will be at the convenience of his family.
