Joseph W. Davis, Jr.

LAKELAND, FL – Joseph W. Davis, Jr., 91, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on July 23, 2021, at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL.   He was the husband of Helen M. (Boring) Davis of Lakeland, FL.

Joseph was born December 25, 1929, in York and was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Klimore) Davis.

He retired from Voith Hydro in York.

In addition to his wife, Helen, Joseph is survived by his sons, William Joseph Davis of East Berlin, PA, Gregory Davis and his wife Suzanne of Fleetwood, PA; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his sister, Yvonne Miller of Manchester and N. Jean Brown of York.  Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Merle, Donald and Clarence and his sister Florence.

Graveside services will be private at Suburban Memorial Gardens in Dover.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover.
