Judith Diane Brenneman
YORK – Judith Diane Brenneman 79, of York, left this earth to join her family on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Melvin C. Brenneman, her soul mate, who passed on March 19, 2002.
Judith was born June 1, 1943, in York and was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Beatrice (Senft) Stambaugh.
Judy, also known as Grandma Judy, loved so many people and was in turn loved by many. She enjoyed watching tv and movies, reading her Bible, listening to Elvis gospel music, and spending time with family and friends. She had a deep faith and loved Jesus. She loved animals of all kinds and enjoyed spending time with Max, her tv buddy. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person and her laughter will be missed.
Judith leaves to cherish her memory her sister Bonita Brungart and her husband Fred of York; her daughter Lisa Winter, and her husband Michael and their daughters Morgan and Lauryn of York; grandson Zachary Brenneman currently serving in the US Air Force and his sister Brandi Landis of Dover; niece Angela Sunday and nephew Corey Sunday, and his wife Paula, great nephew, Rodney Sunday and his wife, Carrie. She is also survived by true friends Butch and Sandy Lutz, the adoptive family of her beloved poodle, Harley Elvis. Preceded in death by her only son, John Brenneman.
Services and burial for Judith will be private. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover.
