Judith A. Dietz

DOVER – Judith A. Dietz, 80, entered into rest at 4:44 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at York South Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born January 14, 1944 in York, Judith was a daughter of the late Roy Leinart and the late Dorothy (Staub) Leinart Bievenour Schrum and was raised by the late Michael Bievenour.

She had worked as an activity’s coordinator for Country Meadows Nursing Home.  Judith enjoyed playing BINGO and crocheting.  She was also a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves.

Judith is survived by three children, Steven Knaub, Sr. and wife, Maryann, Jeffrey Knaub and Lisa Barr; seven grandchildren, Amanda Knaub, Courtney Riley, Shannon Valentine, Holly Daniels, Steven Knaub, Jr., Thomas Barr and Leah Barr; two sisters, Barb Lehr and Christine Dixon; and brother, Gary Bievenour.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Knaub and brother, Michael Bievenour.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a time to celebrate Judy's life from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  The family suggests casual attire.
