Kendall T. Coleman
DOVER – Kendall T. Coleman, 83, entered into rest at 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. He was the loving husband of Carolyn M. (Moul) Coleman. They celebrated 45 years of marriage on May 26, 2021.
Born December 30, 1937 in Norfolk, VA, Kendall was a son of the late John T. and Rhea E. (Sawning) Coleman.
He worked for Teledyne McKay in York for 35 years and later retired from New York Wire, also in York.
Kendall was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, motorcycles and NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Coleman, Sherry Sheely and Kendra Knaub; one son, Randall Coleman and a step son, Todd Moul, all of Dover; five grandchildren; two great grandsons; two sisters, Sybil Tate and Lynn Grande; and a brother, Tex Coleman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Coleman and two sisters, Sandra Wagner and Donna Durham.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kendall’s Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 5005 Carlisle Rd., Dover. A visitation will follow the service. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Sterling E. Walsh, Jr.
