Kenneth L. Haar
DOVER – Kenneth L. Haar, 78, entered into rest on Saturday morning, April 5, 2025 at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Deloris J. (Updike) Haar. The couple celebrated 60 years of marriage on August 29, 2024.
Born October 1, 1946, Ken was a son of the late Clara M. (Haar) Myers.
He graduated from Dover High School and worked as a toolmaker. Ken loved to go to flea markets and yard sales. He also loved his tractors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and dirt track racing.
In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his children, Brian Haar and wife, Kendall and Jodi (Haar) Stambaugh and companion, Gary Rodgers, all of Dover; grandchildren, Kara Stoneberger, Cody Smee, Cameron Rodgers and Madison Haar, Carissa Rodgers and Nicholas Rodgers: four great grandsons, Phoenix Stoneberger and Granger Trimmer, Blake Rodgers, and Emmett Wicks: and two great granddaughter, Evelyn Smee, and Lily Rodgers: a sister, Peggy Grant of Dover. He was preceded in death by his mother and a daughter, Kim Haar.
Following cremation, a time to celebrate Ken’s life will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Wellsville Fire Company, 95 Community Street Wellsville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
