Kenneth W. Hagens
YORK – Kenneth Warren Hagens, 28, entered into rest unexpectedly as a result of a motorcycle accident at 1:10 a.m. on Monday, December 19th, 2022.
Born September 8, 1994 in York, he was the son of Warren J. Hagens of York and Deborah A. (DeLise) Shoop of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Kenneth graduated from York Vo-Tech in 2013.
He was the owner of Ken's Contracting.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth Michael; twin sister, Bridgette; two nephews, Keith and Ethan who he was the Godfather of; and his grandmothers, Olga Hagens and Jean DeLise. He was preceded in rest by his grandfathers, Kenneth Hagens and Earl DeLise; and uncles, Doug Hagens and Earl DeLise, Jr.
Ken lived life to the fullest. His greatest joys were motorcycle riding, drinking, women and his dog, Zeus. He was a member of Crotch Cannibals Social Club, Girard Athletic Association, MBA, Victory Club, American Legion, South End Club, Prince Athletic Association, Twelfth Ward and Firemans Club.
Ken will be deeply missed from every person he's inspired; he was the light in every room. There will be a time to celebrate Ken's life at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Victory Athletic Association, 471 S. Ogontz St., York.
