Kenneth H. Holmes

DOVER – Kenneth H. Holmes, 90, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg.  He was the husband of the late Rebecca “Peggy” Holmes.

Born August 29, 1933 in York, Kenneth was a son of the late Arthur and Pearl (Ellis) Holmes.

He worked for Duplex Products for 28 years.

Kenneth was a member of Prince Club,13th Ward and a life member of Viking Athletic Association.

He is survived by his son, Larry Holmes and brother, Ernest Holmes.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Ronald and Donald Holmes; and sister, Marie Finzer.

Services for Kenneth will be private.  Burial is in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
