Kjell B. Bjorkman
DOVER – Kjell B. “Chick” Bjorkman, 89, entered into rest Sunday morning, November 9, 2025 at his home. He was the loving husband of Karen I. (Murphy) Bjorkman. The couple celebrated 53 years of marriage on July 29, 2025.
Born November 26, 1935 in Sweden, Kjell was a son of the late Gunnar and Sally (Anderson) Bjorkman.
He graduated from Wildwood High School in Wildwood, NJ and earned a bachelor’s degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Kjell owned and operated The Cool Keepers in York and previously worked as an engineer for Borg Warner.
Kjell was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 791. He had his pilot’s license and enjoyed playing soccer in his younger years.
In addition to his wife, Kjell is survived by a son, Marc Bjorkman of Pennsylvania; several grandchildren; and his sister, Mona Taylor of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Keith Bjorkman.
