Larry E. Hollerbush
YORK – Larry E. Hollerbush, 71, entered into rest on Monday, May 3, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg. He was the loving husband of Peggy A. (Zepp) Hollerbush. The couple celebrated 28 years of marriage on October 17, 2020.
Born January 9, 1950 in Dover, Larry was a son of the late Ralph and Juanita (Lemkelde) Hollerbush.
He attended Northeastern High School.
Larry worked as a building code inspector for the Commonwealth Code Inspection Service since 2004 and was a farmer in his younger years. He also had 16 years of service for Ken Snyder Masonry.
He attended Genesis New Life in York New Salem.
Larry enjoyed yard work, gardening and working.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew Hollerbush and wife, Kira of Philadelphia and Timothy Hollerbush and wife, Amanda of Portland, ME; a step daughter, Sonya Topper- Staub and husband, Eric Staub of Thomasville; and two step sons, Chad Topper and wife, Kerry of Selbyville, DE and Shane Topper and wife, Denielle Lobe of York; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph “Leroy” Hollerbush.
Due to Pennsylvania’s current Covid-19 pandemic gathering limits, services for Larry will be private. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
