Larry D. Kunkel

GLEN ROCK – Larry D. Kunkel, 86, formerly of Dover, entered into rest at 4:17 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at home.

Born February 12, 1937 in Dover Township, he was the son of the late Carl M. and Jennie E. (Lauer) Kunkel and brother of the late Jay W. Kunkel.

Larry graduated from Dover High School and attended floral school in New York.  He was the former proprietor of Golden Carriage Flower Shop in Dover and decorated malls, restaurants and fire halls.  Larry was a former member of the United Birthday Club.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024 in Salem Union Cemetery, 2705 W. Canal Rd., Dover.  In the case of inclement weather, the service will be held in Dover U.C.C., 45 W. Canal St., Dover.  Officiating will be Pastor Cam Richesson of Dover United Church of Christ.
