Linda S. (Brokenshire) John McLeod, 65, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her home.

Born January 22, 1958 in York, she was a daughter of the late Luther G. and Ruth L. (Wagner) Brokenshire.

Linda graduated from West York High School in 1975.  She worked as a picker for Nordstrom and had also been employed by LG Potato Chip Factory at one time.

Linda was a member of Mount Joy American Legion Post 185; Mount Joy VFW Post 5752; and Modern Music Masters.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles and participating in benefit/charity rides.  Linda also enjoyed roller skating, shopping, going to the movies, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, attending the Apple Harvest Festival and going to the beach.  She had a passion for music, especially playing the piano, and listening to classical, contemporary rock and reggae genres.  Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Antoine “AJ” McLeod of Mount Joy; daughter, Heather Crone and husband, Bill of Dover; three grandchildren, Dakota, Brice and Gracie; her sister, Joann R. Stare and husband, Terry of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation to celebrate Linda’s life from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover, with a time to share memories at 11 a.m.
