Loyal E. Sprague
RED LION - Loyal E. Sprague, 82, of Red Lion, left his earthly body to live in heaven. He was the husband of Louise Hunter Sprague, and previously of Elizabeth Newman Sprague.
Loyal was born November 6, 1938, in Rodman NY, as the son of Allen and Virginia Sprague.
Loyal, as most of the Sprague men, wore a sly smile often called a smirk. His smile brought instant laughter and joy to those around him. He was a man of God who raised his son in church, at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, and the Elmira Christian Academy School. After moving to the area in 2019, Loyal and his family, attend the Family Worship Center in Red Lion, PA. Mr. Sprague was a man ahead of his time, a visionary. His mechanical innovation was pure genius hindered by a lack of capital. His ingenuity in the construction field, made many happy customers.
He is survived by his son Keith, grandson Shawn, great grandson Kerry, brother Aubry, his sisters, Kathy, Myra, and Eunice.
A life celebration service will begin at 4 pm August 21, 2021, at Family Worship Center, 865 West Broadway, Red Lion, PA. Pastor Rob Costello will be speaking. Burial will be private in Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
