WELLSVILLE – Luther M. Myers, Jr., 85, entered into rest Monday morning, January 24, 2022 at his daughter’s home.  He was the husband of Erma J. (Weirich) Myers of Wellsville.

Born August 19, 1936 in Fairview Township, he was a son of the late Luther M. and Daisy M. (Shaffer) Myers, Sr.

Luther retired from Harley Davidson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Gail D. Erney and husband, Dave of Dover and Donna L. Schrade and husband, Walt of Wellsville; two grandchildren, Brad and Jessica; four great grandchildren, Madison, Lilla, Kyanite and Aspen; four sisters, Emma Ferree of Lewisberry, Connie Shive of York, Rosie Edelblute of Wrightsville and Judy Myers of York Haven; and a brother, Lawrence Kunkel of Dillsburg.  Luther was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lester Myers; and two sisters, Helen Schmuck and Ruth Albright.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Luther’s funeral at 12 noon and the viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Masks are optional.  Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with the funeral procession forming at the cemetery’s entrance at 10:45 a.m.  Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace U.C.C. in Hanover.
