Marchelle L. Landis

DOVER – Marchelle L. (Dellinger) Landis, 67, entered into rest at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025 at UPMC Memorial Hospital.  She was the loving life partner of Daniel E. Hibner of Dover.  They were together for over 40 years.

Born August 14, 1957 in Harrisonburg, VA, Marchelle was the daughter of the late Ray K. and Mary E. (Spitzer) Dellinger.

She graduated from Dover Area High School in 1975.  Marchelle retired in 2022 following over 30 years of service for Jack Giambalvo Auto Group where she worked in the parts department.  She also worked for Williams Grove Speedway and Silver Springs Speedway - a reflection of her appreciation for all things racing.

Marchelle was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Dover; Shiloh American Legion Post 791; and East Berlin VFW Post 8896.  She enjoyed quilting and made numerous racing themed blankets for people.

In addition to her life partner, Daniel, Marchelle is survived by her brother, Stanley W. Dellinger of Red Lion and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Marchelle’s viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County Racing Club Injured Drivers Fund, 568 Yale St., York, PA 17403.
