Marcia L. Nade
YORK – Marcia L. Nade, 86, entered into rest at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Franklin J. “Bo” Nade who passed away on May 16, 2020. They were married for 67 years.
Born November 23, 1934 in Conewago Township, Marcia was a daughter of the late Harry and Hilda (Keefer) Mills.
She graduated from Manchester High School in 1952.
Marcia retired from Metso Minerals in 1996 where she worked in the accounting department.
She was a member of Dover Bethany U.M. Church, Green Acres Society of Farm Women Group 30, and Union Fire & Hose Co. #1, Dover Ladies Auxiliary. Marcia loved to read and enjoyed gardening, playing cards, trips to Potter county and traveling with her husband following retirement, especially on bus trips. Most important to her was to spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Franklin J. Nade III and wife, Tania of Manchester, Cory J. Nade of York and Amy F. Nade of York; three grandchildren, Ryan J. Nade and wife, Debra, Katie E. Nade, and Dylan J. Nade; four great grandchildren, Ryley Nade-Bishop, Colby Nade, Alexander Nade, and Wendy Fassl; a brother, Lindsay Mills of Harrisburg; and a sister, Melody Mills of Emigsville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, John Mills, Ermil Neiman, Gladys Eppley, Glenda Orwick, Harry Mills, Jr., and Lawrence Mills.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Marcia’s graveside service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Dover Bethany Cemetery, 4510 Bull Rd., Dover. Officiating will be the Rev. Beth Schlegel, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Manchester. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving her family.
