Mary E. Goodling

DOVER – Mary E. Goodling, 84, entered into rest on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Dallastown.  She was the wife of the late James D. Goodling.

Born March 17, 1938 in York, Mary was a daughter of the late Carl F. and Sadie J. (Siders) Brosend.

Mary worked for Manley Valve in York and was a member of New Creation Community Church in Dover.  She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them and the rest of her family.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Teresa A. Euculano and husband, Bill of York; two grandchildren, Jason (Karen) Euculano and Angela (Magan) Euculano-Leigh; four great grandchildren, Jordan, Max, Calvin and Sadie; two sisters, Lois Lightner and Ruth (Samuel) Vaughn, all of York; and a brother, Carl F. Brosend, Jr. of Dover.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Simmons and Esther Renner.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the visitation from 10 to 11a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.  Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Kurt Herzberg.
