DOVER – Mary Ann Pentz, 80, entered into rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Normandie Ridge Nursing Home. 

Born October 11, 1941 in East Berlin, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Gretna (Myers) McGregor.

Mary Ann was an avid Penn State Football fan and enjoyed attending her grandson’s extracurricular activities, especially with the Dover High School Band.

She is survived by three sons, Scott E. Pentz and wife, Melissa of Dover, Gregory L. Pentz and wife, Edna of Dover and Brian L. Pentz and wife, Shari of Columbus, OH; a grandson, Chase Pentz and wife, Melissa; a step-granddaughter, Jessica Perez and husband, Joey; several step-great grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph H. McGregor of East Berlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy J. Edquist and a brother, Glenn W. McGregor.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary Ann's funeral 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Mummert’s Meetinghouse Cemetery, Abbottstown. Officiating will be the Rev. Eva O’Diam, pastor of Dover U.C.C.
