MERCERSBURG – Mary T. Zink, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born December 27, 1937 in Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul M. and Thelma C. (Dunn) Tharp.

Mary was a homemaker who had also worked as a telephone operator, school bus driver and handicap van driver. She was very active with the churches she attended, Grace Bible Church in Manchester, MD and Needmore Bible Church in Needmore, PA.

She is survived by three children, Brenda Zink of Mercersburg, Mary V. Mathis, wife of the late, Charles, of Dover and Richard Zink and wife, Barrie of Hanover; five grandchildren, Brittany, Joyce, Andrew, Kirsten and Austin; nine great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lois Sellar of Zellinger and Rhoda Bowen of Hanover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Shelton.

Following cremation, services will be at the convenience of the family.
