Michael L. Bievenour
DOVER – Michael L. Bievenour, 73, entered into rest the morning of Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Amanda Chien with whom he shared 12 years of marriage.
Born December 25, 1947 in Dover, Michael was a son of the late Michael J. Bievenour and Dorothy E. (Staub) Schrum.
He graduated from Dover High School in 1965 and went on to serve a combined 20 years in the U.S Army and Army Reserves. Michael retired from FCI Electronics (formerly Berg and Dupont Electronics).
Michael was a devoted father and grandfather, beyond the wisdom and guidance he provided, loved attending their activities. He also enjoyed woodworking, racing and baseball.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Michael G. Bievenour and wife, Ronna of Salisbury, MD, Mitchell L. Royer and husband, Michael of York Springs, Eric J. Bievenour of York and Ashley L. Bievenour of York; nine grandchildren, Carsten and Klaira Bievenour, Jody, Amanda, Trey and Austin Royer, Oliver Bievenour and Ava and Mason Bowman; and two sisters, Barbara Lehr and Judith Dietz, both of York.
A graveside service for Michael will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11 a.m.
