Michael R. Orth

DOVER – Michael R. Orth, 50, entered into rest on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.

Born January 8, 1974 in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Carol Ann (Boas) Orth.

Michael worked for Apple Automotive where he delivered auto parts.

He played pool with a pool league that won some awards in APA Tournaments and enjoyed playing cards and poker with family and friends.  He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a fan of both Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr.  Michael was also a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He is survived by three sons, Justin M. Orth and Jordan M. Orth, both of York and Ethan D. Orth of Dover; brother, Steven Orth of Reinholds; and sister, Lisa Black and her children of Reading.

Following cremation, services for Michael will be at the convenience of his family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. in Dover.
