Michael K. Senft

DOVER – Michael K. Senft, 63, entered into rest at 9:58 a.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at UPMC Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born December 2, 1961 in York, Michael was the son of Gerald E. and Helen M. (Roble) Senft of Dover.

He graduated from Dover High School in 1979 and worked as a fork lift operator for St. Regis and Yorktowne Paper Mills and later retired from Syncreon.

Michael was a member of Viking Athletic Association.  He enjoyed fishing and going to Ocean City, MD. Michael also enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles, Las Vegas Raiders and Duke Basketball.  He played Weigelstown baseball for many years during his youth and later became a coach.  Michael also enjoyed trivia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Amy Rippentrop and husband, Wade of Tennessee; sister, Karen Harlacker of Dover; and his companion, Annette Hertel of Wrightsville. 

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael’s life celebration at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Viking Athletic Association, 318 N. Adams St., York. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
