Miriam Shoff
YORK – Miriam Shoff, 93, entered into rest on Friday, July 5, 2024 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dean Shoff.
Born July 4, 1931 in Narvon, Miriam was a daughter of the late Levi and Mary (Kurtz) Kurtz.
She had worked for Federal Paper Board.
Miriam is survived by her four children, Larry Shoff and wife, Tanya of York, Brad Shoff and wife, Pam of Dover, Dean Shoff and wife, Phyllis of Abbottstown and Donna Adams of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Earl Kurtz and two sisters, Susie Shoff and Della Weaver.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Miriam’s funeral at 7 p.m. and the viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at St. David's E.C. Church, 2411 Oakland Road, Dover. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York, with the funeral procession forming at 9:45 a.m. at the cemetery's entrance. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. N. Patrick Teaford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. in Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to benefit the children's program at St. David's E.C. Church, 2411 Oakland Rd., Dover, PA 17315. Please notate AWANA on the memo line of the check.
