DOVER – Nancy J. Myers, 86, entered into rest at 4:43 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at York North Nursing & Rehab.  She was the wife of the late Preston H. “Herb” Myers, Jr. and the former wife of the late Dale R. Hollinger.

Born April 13, 1938 in York, she was a daughter of the late Jennings and Grace (Godfrey) Blouse.

Nancy had worked for Fincor Electronics and following retirement, she was employed at Target.  She previously owned Holly’s Restaurant in Dover.  Nancy was a member of Mount Royal U.M. Church in Dover.  She enjoyed listening to country music and was a fan of NASCAR, especially Rusty Wallace.  Above all else, she loved spoiling her granddaughter, KyLynn.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Candy L. Lauer and husband, Kyle of York; granddaughter, KyLynn Lauer of York; two sisters, Linda Frey of York and Joyce Beshore of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Helfrich and Charles Blouse and a sister, Evelyn Krouse.

Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
