Nancy L. Sipe

DOVER – Nancy L. (Williams) Sipe, 81, entered into rest at 12:19 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024 at her home.  She was the wife of the late George W. Sipe, Sr.  They were married 29 years.

Born February 16, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie (Knarr) Williams.

Nancy had over 40 years of service as a self-employed tax preparer.  She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to Atlantic City and spending time with her ever growing family.

Nancy is survived by her seven children, Albert Orchard and wife, Carol, Bob Orchard and wife, Norah, John Orchard, Susan Keiderling, Barbara Orchard, Jimmy Orchard and wife, Michelle and Sam Cooke; three step-children, George Sipe, Jr., Michael Snyder and Jeff Snyder; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; two siblings, Elsie Cobb and husband, Pete and Bill Williams; and her beloved pets, Patches and Lenny.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Elmer and Robert Williams and Jenny Steck.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Nancy’s funeral at 12 noon and the viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens in Dover.  Officiating will be Chaplain Tricia McMackin of Hospice and Community Care.
