HALETHORPE, MD – Neil Simon Storm, 40, entered into rest Thursday morning, June 24, 2021 at his home. 
 
He was born April 21, 1981 in York, a son of Susan E. (Mummert) Storm of Dover and the late Simon G. Storm.
 
Neil graduated from Dover Area High School in 1999.  He worked in the food service industry over the years.
 
In addition to his mother, Neil is survived by his companion, Rose Forbes of Halethorpe, MD; a sister, Alice S. Jones and husband, Bradley of Baltimore, MD; a nephew, Reid Jones; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Mummert of Dover; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Gregory and Mary Storm; and maternal grandfather, William Mummert.
 
Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Neil’s memorial service at 11 a.m. and the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Interment will follow in Salem Union Cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev. Eva O’Diam, pastor of Dover U.C.C.
