Patricia Ann Kohler Shaw

Age 82, of Shiloh, PA entered in the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 10, 2024.  She was the devoted wife of John Cole Shaw to whom she was married for 57 years.  Patricia was born December 31, 1941 to Charles and Irene Kohler.  Patricia was born in the summer house at her uncle Luther Crone’s farm which is now known as Barefoot Farms in the village of Rohlers.

Patricia was very active in her church at Rohlers Assembly of God.  She taught Sunday School, directed the youth group, was very active in the women’s ministry and was the organist for over 30 years.  Patricia worked in the accounting department at McCrory’s Distribution Center in York, PA.  Later, she was the Office Manager at Colonial Manor Nursing Home.  Then in 1991, she began to work for her husband, John C. Shaw, CPA, for about 15 years.

Patricia is survived by her husband, John Shaw; daughter, Jennifer Whitacre and husband, Phillip of Glen Rock, PA; two grandsons, Brandon and Brayden Whitacre of Glen Rock, PA; brother, Kevin E. Kohler and wife, Cindy of Harrisburg, PA; and brother, Keith A. Kohler of Strinestown, PA.  Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Irene Kohler; brothers, Floyd L. Kohler and Karl A. Kohler, Sr.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Patricia’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Rohlers Assembly of God, 761 Rohlers Church Road, Dover.  Burial will follow in Rohlers Mountain View Cemetery, Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Ronald Stafford.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
