Patsy A. Leathery
DOVER – Patsy A. Leathery, 78, entered into rest at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at her brother’s home. She was the loving wife of Carl E. Leathery. The couple celebrated 59 years of marriage on April 21, 2021.
Born October 22, 1942 in York, Patsy was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Gochenauer) Gayman.
She graduated from York Suburban High School.
Patsy retired from ABF and previously worked for M & M, Motor Freight, and Carolina Freight. Following retirement, she worked part-time as a cashier at Giant in Dover.
Patsy loved to visit the casinos and spend time with her family. She enjoyed coordinating and participating in family get-togethers and going to the beach.
In addition to her husband, Patsy is survived by her son, Gary A. Leathery and wife, Angeline of Wellsville; three brothers, Jim Gayman and Richard Gayman of York and Robert Gayman of Hellam; a sister, Donna Miller of Milton, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy L. Leathery and two brothers.
Services for Patsy will be at the convenience of the family.
