Querida L. Lemkelde

WELLSVILLE – Querida L. (Fickes) Lemkelde, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Roger M. Lemkelde.

She was born January 22, 1939 in Wellsville, at the home of her parents, the late Guy and Minerva (March) Fickes. She was a 1956 graduate of Northern York High School, and enjoyed swimming and going to the beach.

Querida is survived by her sons, Ty J. Lemkelde of Harrisburg and Greg A. Lemkelde of New Cumberland and a sister, Ruth Erb of York.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
