Randy L. Hake

DOVER – Randy L. Hake, 66, entered into rest on Friday, March 11, 2022 at his home.

Born May 16, 1955 in West York, he was a son of the late Richard E. and Esther M. (Whitecomb) Hake.

Randy graduated from Northeastern High School in 1973.  He had been co-owner of Hakes Grocery Store and recently retired.

Randy was an active member of Dover Bethany U.M. Church and volunteered at Latimore Valley in York Springs.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling and was a NASCAR fan.  Randy liked going to auctions, especially produce auctions.  Most of all, he loved helping others.

Randy is survived by four siblings, Ricky L. Hake of York, Darlene K. Hake of Wellsville, Connie L. Holtzapple and companion, Craig Lehman of Dover and Rodney E. Hake of York; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Randy’s funeral at 2 p.m. and the viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Dover Bethany U.M. Church, 4510 Bull Rd., Dover.  Burial will follow in Dover Bethany Cemetery.  Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Salvatore Buonocore.  Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover, is serving his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dover Bethany U.M. Church, 4510 Bull Rd., Dover, PA 17315.
