Rayman I. Ally, Jr.
DOVER, PA – Rayman I. Ally Jr., known as Jim to family and friends, entered into rest Monday afternoon, May 12, 2025 at his home in Dover, PA.
Born August 6, 1969 in Baltimore, MD, he was the eldest son of the late Rayman I. and Phyllis (Evelyn) Ally.
Jim graduated in 1987 from St. Paul’s School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from UMBC. He was a social worker focused on helping young adults and the homeless.
An avid reader, Jim was a fan of horror, fantasy, and historical fiction. He was a passionate foodie and cooking enthusiast who loved making meals for his family. Jim was an animal lover and devoted “dog dad” to his steadfast companion, Biscuit. He loved nothing better than hiking, exploring new cuisines and watching historical documentaries with his longtime girlfriend, Andrea.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Deborah Ally-Dickerson and David Ally, both of Baltimore, MD, and his girlfriend, Andrea Porkola of Hampstead, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Max Ally.
Following cremation, services will be private.
