Reba S. Kemper

EAST BERLIN – Reba Sarah Kemper, 75, entered into rest Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Kemper, Sr.

Born October 11, 1947 in York, Reba was a daughter of the late Robert A. and Reba S. (Sopachey) Buhrman, Sr.

Reba worked as a nurse’s aide in home health care.  She attended Shrewsbury Gospel Temple for many years and enjoyed taking care of her home.

She is survived by two children, Ronald E. Kemper, Jr. and wife, Mary of York Springs and Karen K. Watkins and husband, Tom of Manchester; three grandchildren, Celest Lea and husband, Donovan, Maya Kemper and Cole Kemper; four great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Addison, Brooklyn and Scarlett; sister, Anita L. Reinhardt; four brothers, Robert A. Buhrman, Jr., Harry A. Buhrman, Lawney R. Buhrman and Randy L. Buhrman; and brother-in-law, Richard Kemper.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas L. Kemper; two sisters, Marjorie A. Hunt and Cecelia Folkenroth; and three brothers, Terry, Floyd and Rodney Buhrman.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Reba’s funeral at 12 noon and the visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.
