Richard M. Lehman, Jr.
DILLSBURG – Richard M. “Dick” Lehman, Jr., 76, entered into rest on Monday, November 24, 2025. He was the loving husband of Linda A. (Burrell) Lehman. The couple celebrated 56 years of marriage on August 3, 2025.
Born April 2, 1949 in York, Dick was the son of the late Richard M. Lehman, Sr. and Aleen B. (Barnette) Lehman Shissler.
He graduated from Dover High School in 1967. Dick had 40 years of service for York International and Johnson Controls, where he retired in 2008. Following retirement, he worked part-time at Spring Valley Mulch for seven years.
Dick attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Dillsburg. He liked gardening, canning, woodworking, tinkering and fixing things. He also enjoyed John Deere tractors.
In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by his daughter, Joy E. Spangler and husband, Robert “Bob” of Ava, IL; two sisters, Susan A. Hewitt and husband, John of Manchester and Lana K. Lehman of Warminster; brother-in-law, Bill Burrell and wife, Carolyn of Dover; and two nephews, John Hewitt, Jr. and wife, Amber and Michael Burrell and wife, Jessica. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy L. Crull.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dick’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Cedar Hill Baptist Church, 154 Chestnut Grove Rd., Dillsburg. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. Officiating will be Pastor Wes Gunther and Pastor Bob Spangler. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
