Robert F. Crone II

DOVER – Robert F. Crone II, 74, entered into rest at 8:20 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born March 3, 1950 in Conewago Township, Robert was a son of the late Robert F. and Arvilla J. (Cooper) Crone.

He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1968 and served in the U.S. Army.

Robert retired from Kinsley, Inc. in York and was previously employed by Stewart & Tate.

He was a Hot Rod enthusiast and enjoyed watching racing and baseball.  Robert also enjoyed going bowling and hunting and played softball in his younger years.

Robert is survived by his three children, Robert F. Crone III and wife, Andrea of Lancaster, Jeremy L. Crone of Dover and Dawn A. Harrison, wife of the late Scott of York; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirely Bream and Rose Yingling, both of Dover; two brothers, Timothy Crone of East Berlin and Barry Crone of Dover; and his neighbor and “guardian angel”, Mr. Dan Linebarier of Dover.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ilene Nebinger.

Following cremation, services will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center,  Inc., Dover.
