DOVER – Robert J. Glatfelter, 72, entered into rest at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Born October 7, 1952 in York, Robert “Bob” was a son of the late Robert B. Glatfelter and Nancy M. (Stough) Reinhart.

He spent the majority of his work career at Consolidated Freightways and early on, he was a baker for Mrs. Smith’s Pie company.

Robert is survived by his three children, Michael J. Glatfelter of Manchester, Shane A. Glatfelter of York and Lisa A. Rhinehart of Etters and three grandchildren, Kylie, Jacob and Addison.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bob’s funeral at 10 a.m. and the viewing from 9:30 to 10 a.m.  on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Sterling Walsh, pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Greater York.
