Romaine Louise Blevins

THOMASVILLE - Romaine Louise Blevins, 98, entered into eternal rest at 6:45 p.m. on December 24th, 2025 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Center, York, PA.  She was the loving wife of 73 years to Charles Raymond Blevins who preceded her in death on January 21st, 2017.

Born May 3rd, 1927 in Dover, PA Romaine was the daughter of the late Harvey and Fairy (Linebaugh) Rupert.

Romaine was an exquisite homemaker, baker, gardener and babysitter.  She was a member of New Life Assembly of God in East Berlin, PA.

Romaine is survived by a daughter, Norma Jean Miller of York, PA; a daughter-in-law, Vickie Blevins of Port Charlotte, FL; three grandchildren, Brett Miller (Pamela) of East Berlin, PA, Christina Rumancik (William) of Venice, FL and Angela Russell (Thomas) of Spring Grove, PA; seven great grandchildren, Larissa Thrift and Kayla Lehman, Zachary and Austin Jeffrey Rumancik, Tyler, Amber and Owen Russell; three great great grandchildren, Sutton Lehman, Adelynn Thrift and Brynnleigh Lehman; and two brothers, Carl Rupert (Dorthea) and Richard Rupert.  In addition to her husband, Romaine was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jeffrey Raymond Blevins; a sister Kathleen Crone; and three brothers, Harvey Jr., George and William Rupert.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Romaine’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday December 31st, 2025 at Bermudian Covenant Brethren Church, 279 Bermudian Church Road, East Berlin, PA 17316.  Burial will follow in Bermudian Church Cemetery.  Officiating will be grandson and Deacon Brett C. Miller.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc.
