Rose M. Baer
DILLSBURG – Rose "Tiney" M. “Mawmaw” Baer, 54, entered into rest at 3:31 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill. She was the loving wife of Leon Baer.
Born January 24, 1968 in York, Rose was a daughter of the late Kenneth Strickler, Sr. and Sarah (Orris) Spangler and a step-daughter of James Spangler, Sr. of York.
She was a member of Dillsburg VFW Auxiliary Post 6771 and Dillsburg American Legion Auxiliary Post 26.
Rose enjoyed line dancing and shopping. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and step-father, Rose is survived by her two children, Daryl A. Baer and girlfriend, Linsey E. Perez of York Haven and Amanda M. Dyarman and boyfriend, Daniel L. Hare of York; three grandchildren, Aaleyah, Jayden and Kendyl; two sisters, Tracy L. Sutch of New Bloomfield and Sherry Myers of York; and several step-siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Strickler, Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Rose’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace UCC in Hanover.
