Roy G. Einsig

WELLSVILLE – Roy G. Einsig, 88, of Bumble Bee Hollow Road, entered into rest Saturday morning, February 5, 2022 at Pappus House.  He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Stough) Einsig.

Born December 11, 1933 in York, Roy was a son of the late Jacob E. and Bernetta (Wolford) Einsig.

He had 41 years of service for Shipley where he was a welder.

Roy is survived by two daughters, Susan M. Smith and husband, Tom of York and Wendy L. Ruth and husband, Don, Jr. of Dover; three grandchildren, Ronnie Smith, Gallen Smith and Alona Krebs; and five great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Roy’s funeral at 10:30 a.m. and the viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace U.C.C. in Hanover.
