Roy N. Hartlaub

DOVER TOWNSHIP – Roy N. Hartlaub, age 62, died in his home on January 2, 2026.  He was a beloved brother and friend.

Born February 22, 1963 in York, he was the son of the late Melvin and Shirley (Mummert) Hartlaub of Dover.

Roy was self-employed since 2002.  He enjoyed buying and selling refurbished lawn tractors and snow blowers.  He especially liked the Wheel Horse brand of mowers.

Roy is survived by three siblings: Phyllis Rives and her husband, David of York, Donald Hartlaub and his wife, Sandy and nephew, Eric, of Hanover, and John Hartlaub and his wife, Cyndi and niece, Jessica and nephew, Nickolas of Jacobus.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 6 to 7 p.m. with a time to celebrate Roy’s life beginning at 7 p.m. at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.
