Ruth F. Harr

DOVER – Ruth F. (Black) Harr, 96, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, October 30, 2022 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Frank O. Harr.

Born March 18, 1926 in Liberty, Ruth was a daughter of the late Norman J. and Mildred G. (Carson) Black.

She retired at the age of 77 following 22 years of service for Rutter’s Farm Store.

Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She is survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Harr and fiancé, Wesley J. Wakefield and Barbara L. Harr and husband, Michael E. Jacobson, all of Dover; three grandsons, Brandon O. Delisio, James K. Delisio III and Dylan M. Jacobson; a great granddaughter; three great grandsons; and two sisters, Mary Fierro of Horseheads, NY and Reba Landschoot of Ocala, FL.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers.

Following cremation, a celebration of Ruth’s life will be scheduled at a later date.  Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover, is serving her family.
