DOVER - Sally Ann Louise Miller, 74, entered into rest on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Rose City Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lancaster.  She was the loving wife of Robert C. Miller, Jr. They were married for 57 years.

Born April 3, 1951 in Dover Township, Sally was a daughter of the late Glen and Ruth (Boyer) Shaffer.

She was a homemaker. 

Sally was a member of Women of Today in Dover, Shiloh American Legion Post 791 Women’s Auxiliary, life member of West Manchester VFW 7374 Auxiliary and life member of Disabled American Veterans.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Robert C. Miller III and wife, Robin of Irwin, PA and Michelle R. Miller of Dover, PA; five grandchildren, Quade Morris – Miller(Ashton), Quinn Miller, Holly Nicklow(Cory), Jade Miller, Clayton Morris; six great grandchildren, Clayton, Simon, Gwendolyn, Layla, Magnolia and Piper; two brothers, Charles Shaffer and Randy Shaffer; and five sisters, Julian Myers, June Bolton, Kyle Kerr, Janette Shearer and Petie Miller. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Eugene Shaffer, Donald Shaffer, Marlin Shaffer, Paul Shaffer and Glenn Shaffer, Jr. and a sister, Patsy Landis. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sally’s funeral at 3 p.m. and the viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Darryl MacPherson, assistant pastor of Providence Presbyterian Church.
