DOVER – Sandra K. Bisking, 70, entered into eternal rest at 6:35 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.  She was the loving wife of Michael S. Bisking.  The couple celebrated over 40 years of marriage in June.
 
Born April 19, 1950 in Harrisburg, Sandra was a daughter of the late Charles N. Bender and Eve (Fuller) Chance and step-daughter of the late Billy Ray Chance.
 
She graduated from Susquenita High School in 1968 and continued her education in Nursing School.
 
Family was everything to Sandra.  She loved being a grandma and loved her dogs and cats.  Sandra also loved music, muscle cars and going to baseball games.  She was a cancer survivor.
 
In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by her son, Steven M. Bisking and his fiancée, Tana Phillips of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Debra Sturtz.  In addition to her parents and step-father, she was preceded in death by a brother, John N. Bender and a sister, Ellen L. Bender.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sandra’s graveside service at approximately 12:15 – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Prospect Hill Cemetery.  The funeral procession will form at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace UCC in Hanover.
