Sandra K. Harlacker

DOVER – Sandra K. Harlacker, age 72, formerly of Wellsboro, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2025. 

Born November 23, 1952 in Wellsboro, Sandra was a daughter of the late George and Phyllis (Fowler) Young.  She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Cooney.

Sandra leaves many to cherish her memory, including her husband, Harlan W. “Tony” Harlacker, Jr.; daughters, Tammy Behn and husband, Doug and Teresa Miller and husband, John; son, Flint Harlacker and wife, Trudy; sisters, Sherry King and husband, Frank, Cindy Fuller and husband, Mike and Gale Monks and husband, Alba; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She worked for many years as a respiratory therapist.  She was a member of Bermudian Church in East Berlin.

Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and also had many lifelong friendships.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Bermudian Church, 279 Bermudian Church Rd., East Berlin.  Condolences will be accepted from 9:30 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Firster officiating and Pastor Larry Dentler singing her favorite hymns.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
