Sandra L.  Schenandore

DOVER – Sandra L. (Cummings) Schenandore, 82, entered into rest on Saturday afternoon, May 4, 2024 at Inners Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation in Dallastown.  She was the wife of the late Larry R. Schenandore, Sr.

Born January 10, 1942 in York, Sandy was the daughter of the late Clifton Cummings and Lillian (Gardner) Cummings.

She retired from Giant after working for several area grocery stores.  Sandy was a member of the Heritage Senior Center in Dover and enjoyed knitting, playing games and going on day trips.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Schenandore, Jr. and wife, Karen of York and Gary Schenandore of Dover; three grandchildren, Travis Schenandore, Nikki McEvoy and Jeremy Van Sickle, along with her great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Van Sickle.

Services and burial will be private in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
