DOVER – Shawnathan P. Winters, 40, tragically entered into rest on Friday, December 13, 2024 doing what he loved to do.  He was the loving husband of Danielle N. (Deardorff) Winters.  The couple celebrated seven years of marriage on May 30, 2024.

Born January 23, 1984 in Altlanta, GA, he was a son of the late Angela M. Woods and Paul Frady.

Shawnathan owned and operated Magical Tree Service, LLC for six years.  He coached Dover Youth Basketball and was also very involved with Dover Youth Football.  Shawnathan enjoyed staying active and being outdoors, including four-wheeling, something he started doing more recently.  He was a loyal Atlanta Falcons fan. 

In addition to his wife, Shawnathan is survived by two sons, Shawnathan Winters, Jr. and Joshua Winters; three step-children, Cohen Knaack, Jaxon Crockett and Sydney Youngman; two brothers, Joseph Woods of Gray, GA, Billy Peek of Douglasville, GA; a sister, Sabrina Crozier of Milledgeville, GA; cousins, Michael Bryant of Eatonton, GA, Chead Bryant and Antonio Cervantes, both of Crawfordville, GA, Carlos Cervantes  and Moises Cervantes, both of Union Point, GA; an uncle, Martin Cervantes of Union Point, GA and uncle and aunt, Allen and Eva Woods of Douglasville, GA.

There will be a public viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  The funeral will be private.  The family asks that those in attendance wear their favorite Atlanta Falcons or Dover Eagles attire or red, black and white.
