DILLSBURG – Sherry Lynn Alden Missinger, 45, entered into rest on Friday, May 5, 2021 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. 
 
Born November 1, 1975 in York, she was a daughter of the late Diana Elaine Christine Alden.
 
Sherry worked as a certified nursing assistant.  She loved swimming and going to the beach.  Sherry adored her sons dearly, as well as her grandson, nieces and nephews.  She was excited for the arrival of her granddaughter that is on the way.  Sherry had a bubbly, outgoing personality and loved life and having fun.  She also enjoyed Captain and coke.
 
Sherry is survived by two sons, Zachary W. Friese and companion, Lexus Groendyk of Dover and Bret Smith and companion, Gabby Stein of Harrisburg; a grandson, Parker; granddaughter on the way, Giovanna; companion, Kenneth Shearn, Jr. of Dover; sister, Alana L. Alden and husband, Cassius Brent of Dillsburg; brother, Jack E. Hilbert and companion, Roxanne Tome of Dover; niece Alyssa Wiley; nephews, Bobby Herman, Darrian Hilbert and Jacob Hilbert; great nieces and nephews, Parker, Ava, Alana, Leeila, Alix, Audri, Daniel and Liam; and grandmother, Evelyn Christine.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sherry’s graveside service at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in St. Paul’s (Wolf’s) Church Cemetery, 4515 Wolf’s Church Rd., York.
