Sonja E. Kinneman
YORK – Sonja E. “Sonnie” Kinneman, 73, entered into rest on Monday morning, August 18, 2025 at her daughter’s home. She was the loving wife of the late Lynn E. Nogle, Larry L. Stover and Steven D. Kinneman.
Born December 6, 1951 in York, she was a daughter of the late Richard W. and Arlene R. (King) Smith.
Sonnie worked for Senior Commons at Powder Mill, Autumn House West and Margaret E. Moul Home where she was a CNA.
She was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 791 and enjoyed sewing and needlepoint.
Sonnie is survived by her daughter, Tracie E. Wigginton and husband, Josh of York; son, Chad E. Nogle of York; five grandchildren, Dezmend, Jackson, Alex, Noah and Zoë; her sister, Linda M. Folcomer of York; and two nephews.
Following cremation, there will be a service to celebrate Sonnie’s life at 12 noon and a visitation from 11 to 12 noon on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Shiloh American Legion Post 791, 1490 Poplars Rd., York.
Burial will take place privately in Bermudian Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Kathy Wright Foltz, visitation pastor of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene.
