Susan C. Frymyer

YORK – Susan C. (Peters) Frymyer, 80, entered into rest at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at UPMC West Shore in Mechanicsburg.  She was the wife of the late Richard J. Frymyer.

Born May 15, 1944 in York, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Peters and Charlotte E. (Markle) Peters Snyder.

Over the years, Susan worked as a beautician and manager at Hardees. 

She is survived by her daughter, Shonna J. Dawson, wife of the late Joe, of York; son, Marc W. Bottomley and wife, Missy of Manchester; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, parents and son-in-law, she was preceded in death by her son, Shane W. Bottomley and a grandson.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Susan’s memorial service at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Christ U.C.C. in Jefferson.
