Susan J. Shellenberger

DOVER – Susan J. Shellenberger, 76, entered into rest at 4:07 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at York North Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Born April 6, 1949 in Dover Township, she was a daughter of the late Stover J. and Jennie (Maul) Shellenberger.

Susan was a homemaker and member of Paradise Lutheran Church, as well as the church’s senior citizens group.  She enjoyed going to the Heritage Senior Center in Dover and participating in the various activities there.  She loved the company of her kitty cats and also liked putting jigsaw puzzles together.

Susan is survived by a brother, Rodney L. Shellenberger and his wife, Marcie of Hanover and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glenn L. Shellenberger; and sisters, Doris R. Hoffman and Miriam L. Dick.

Services for Susan will be at the convenience of her family.  Burial will take place in the family plot in Paradise Union Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
